The signed certificate from BVQI, Bureau Veritas Quality International. This follows a 2-step audit in December 2003 where the efforts were crowned after auditors from BVQI found no non-conformities. Before this a nearly 2½ year project had elapsed where - among a lot of initiatives - the energy consumption has been mapped, the waste-disposal is now carried out according to authorities regulation and action plans for reduction of our environmental impact has been developed. Crispy Food now holds certificates on the management of our environmental impact and the management of food safety (HACCP) as well.

Environmental policy

In practice all human activity do have an environmental impact. So do the activities at Crispy Food. We recognize this and oblige ourselves to minimize this impact. This we will do by successively develop action plans, keep an emergency preparedness in order to prevent pollution and of course follow the Danish environmental legislation. In order to document our intensions we will keep holding a certificate according to the ISO 14001-standard.
