Crispy Food - Gazelle 2004 oktober - 22 - 2004 Crispy Food, has been named one of Denmark’s fastest growing businesses in a survey carried out by the financial daily, Børsen, in Copenhagen.
Over the past four years, Crispy Food’s operating profit has increased by 556 per cent – from DKK 1.7 million to 11.4 million.
A major factor behind the company’s spectacular growth is the small muesli cartons sold together with yoghurt cartons, the so-called ”top cups”. “Top cups” account for 75 per cent of the overall turnover. The remainder is largely shared between own brand muesli and crunchy muesli.
One of Europe’s few suppliers of ”top cups,” Crispy Food sells the muesli cartons to dairy companies.
66 per cent of the production is exported.
